The 2013 Brisbane Rapha Gentlemen’s Race departed from the township of Mt Alford on a 146km loop through the stunning countryside of the Scenic Rim, south-east Queensland.
The route was up-and-down all day, with lots of rolling punchy climbs in the first third, a couple of long challenging gravel sections in the middle, and even more climbing in the closing kilometres before a thrilling, fast descent back into Mt Alford.
You can read the full Gent’s Race report on the Rapha website.
And all the images included in this video (plus lots more) are available for purchase as downloads or as Metallic High Gloss prints from the roadie photo store.

The design and manufacture of Raleigh bicycles (1945).
Heard about this gem over a post-ride brew on Friday. Then stumbled across the actual video via the Gage & Desoto photoblog. A very happy coincidence.

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most extraordinary places to ride your bike. I was lucky enough to be able to ride from Moggs Creek to Apollo Bay and back whilst in Victoria for the Geelong World Championships in October.

Highlights from the 2009 Tour. Alberto Contador took out the the overall. The final stage was won emphatically by Cav after a brilliant leadout from Mark Renshaw. Has anyone ever taken that final corner that fast before? Unlikely.
